When the bride and groom were formally engaged, ceremony preparations may begin. For the community people, they and their companions did spend decades sewing and embroidering clothing, linens, and cloths. They even created unique accessories for the cathedral. The bride-to-be and her associates do attend each household whose users were expected to attend the wedding meeting, and the majority of the invites were given orally.

There were some beliefs that had to be followed when it was day for the wife to input the vicar’s house. For instance, in some Bulgarian regions, it was customary for godparents to drop a particular symbol at the bride’s home after thoroughly discarding it to protect the newlyweds from poor charm and evil influences. The symbol was sewn with red or green threads and hung from the groom at his home.

There may be additional prejudices as well, depending on the area. This was intended to keep the two’s relationships calm and to guarantee their happiness and success.

There would be a ton of dancing and outrageous excitement following the civil and religious ceremony. Citizens enjoyed sipping rakia to savor the happiness of marriage. Even though ceremonies these days are more about the pair than the party and having, they are however a happy occasion for everyone who attends.
